THE DERRYFIELD SCHOOL SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Communications and Event Coordinator will work with the Advancement team to develop and implement marketing, communications and public relations plans and programs for the School's Advancement initiatives and plan, organize, coordinate and implement a portfolio of Advancement events. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record as a communications and events professional with expertise in relationship management both internally with staff and colleagues as well as externally with constituents and vendors. This candidate will also possess strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrate success in thinking creatively, excellent management and organizational skills and the ability to work some nights and weekends.
