Project Associates The primary responsibility of the Implementation Associate is to work with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers on specific project assignments related to implementation of athenahealth's practice management, billing services, and clinical cycle software in medical practices. Additionally, project associates may be assigned to other types of professional services projects. Associates work on multiple projects simultaneously in various regions of the country, traveling nationally approximately 80% of their time, depending on specific project assignments. Specific job responsibilities on projects include: Client Training/Support Client training on athenaNet, athenahealth's practice management application, including training providers, practice front office staffing, billing staff and practice managers/administrators on various aspects of athenaNet, including office and billing workflow, building and maintaining data tables and administering athenaNet in the office Clinical training on tools acquired to support the clinical or collector workflow. On-site support and issues triage/resolution for clients during implementation and specifically when clients "go live" on athenaNet. Projects Support of project managers on assessing site operations in multi-site client operations Preparation of practice financial data to create practice performance benchmarks Preparation of documents to support athena's internal quality assurance processes Post "go live" performance analysis review and support Other professional services projects that could range and vary in type, but near term may include on-site staff support for clients on athena processes (e.g., working client work queues) to specific assignments Administrative tracking/management and QA Tracking and support of client completion of critical client deliverables, including table building, data entry, paper work requirements and other client specific assignments QA of client deliverables including QA of client tables. Facilitation of the "go live authorization process" between clients and athena Technical Conducting technical assessments with clients to ensure they have appropriate equipment to support athenaNet in their offices Build out and/or quality review of client specific documents in athenaNet, including billing slips Support and coordination data imports and related data mapping Research and Analytical Abilities Strong data collection and financial analysis abilities with regard to benchmarking information and practice management operational assessments Strong ability to identify potential issues and participate in their resolution Relationship Development and Management Skills Close working relationships with Sales, VPCOs, Enrollment Services, Electronic Transactions, Client Services Center, RPO, Collector Services, Product Management, and Core Dev Excellent problem solving and investigative skills Excellent organization and time management skills Sound judgment, possessing the ability to identify potential problems and understanding the correct persons to involve in the solution Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to champion the cause of the client and serve as an athenahealth advocate "at the same time". Overall, the Project Associate should possess the skills necessary to manage work on multiple projects simultaneously. Building strong relationships with clients on relevant project assignments, as well as with colleagues within athenahealth is critical to success. These abilities include: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree. One year of work experience ideally in a health care setting Strong computer literacy and the comfort, ability and desire to advance technically Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to focus on detail Ability to complete projects with tight deadlines and time constraints Willingness/comfort with project related travel Below is the ideal candidate profile: Bachelor Degree.
