Job Title: Kit Assistant Reporting to: Laundry Manager Location: Weston Homes Community Stadium, Colchester and Florence Park, Tiptree. Job Description: Behind the scenes of any successful football squad is a hard working group of back room staff covering all aspects of work that are essential to supporting a successful football team. Colchester United are looking to recruit a Kit Assistant to support the team. Working within the Laundry Department, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Laundry Manager to ensure the continued successful operation of the department. Working both alone and as part of a small team, the kit assistant will process training kits and equipment for delivery and collection to the training ground. The role will also require the Kit Assistant to work within the dressing room at Home and Away matches, travelling to matches and ensuring that the team's kit requirements are met and delivering a professional service to staff and players. Personal Specification: A team player' with a positive, can do attitude. Good planning and communication skills. Dedicated to offering first class service to support the team. Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism. Excellent attention to detail. Hours of Work:24 hours per week with a rota Dependent on Home or Away and Saturday and Tuesday matches. Salary: Ł6.50 per hour.
