The Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate receiving, processing and verifying of incoming shipments to ensure stock is received, replenished, properly stored and shipped. They will be expected to work at or rotate to multiple stations, work centers or departments based on business need. In addition, they may be asked to perform the duties of a Distribution Generalist on as needed basis. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to . . . ? Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, identify inventory discrepancies and verify they are corrected. ? Receive and inspect incoming stock. ? Confirm shipment counts with packing slips, as well as tally and match purchase order numbers. ? Disposition items no longer available. ? Prepare skid labels and check against bills-of-lading. ? Load truck and shipping containers. ? Pull orders and transport to dock locations. ? Operate Hilo trucks to load, unload, store and remove materials. ? Maintain and change Hilo and automated guided vehicle batteries. ? Assist and train other employees on an on-going basis. ? Keep work area clean and organized.The accomplished individual will demonstrate progressive experiences in . . . ˇ 6 to 12 months of previous training and/or experience in a warehouse environment involving merchandise handling. 1 - 3 years of experience is preferred.ˇ Basic computer skills to include inputting, retrieving and analyzing data input into various warehouse programs and applications.ˇ Strong organizational skills.ˇ The ability to logically think through and understand process and production requirements.ˇ Willingness to pursue continuous improvement and offer solutions to processing problems and issues.ˇ Ability to interface with customers using good customer service skills.ˇ Demonstrated safe work practices. An outstanding professional will have the following credentials . . . ˇ High school diploma or equivalentˇ Ability to operate a stand up Hilo and a sit down Hilo. A Hilo license is required.ˇ Basic math skills.ˇ Strong attention to detail.ˇ Good verbal and written communication skills.ˇ Ability to operate a variety of equipment and tools, including but not limited to: a personal computer, pallet jack, calculator, utility knife, RF system, and shrink wrap machine.ˇ The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently. This position will require employees to be available Monday through Saturday with the department determining which days will comprise the 40 hour work week based upon scheduling demands.
