My client is the world's leading provider of Software as a Service solutions for airlines and airports, they give their clients the freedom to better market their schedules, sell their products, serve their customers and operate efficiently the way they want. Present in six continents, enabling the progress of a key segment of the world's largest industry - travel and tourism. Brief Synopsis of the job The Solutions Partner is a strategic role within the commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Japan and Korea (working from Tokyo office). This position reports directly to the Regional Head of Sales. RESPONSIBILITIES Measurement of the success of this position is against: Sales targets being met and preferably exceeded Pipeline of major prospects developed Executive and business user level relationships Customer satisfaction Sales disciplines REQUIREMENTS Essential: Knowledge of airline Passenger Service Systems and Commercial solutions Good understanding of airline industry landscape, business drivers, airline commercial operations and distribution Cross-cultural awareness Business level English is a must Japanese and Korean languages are not a requirement Desirable: Well connected among senior executives in the airline industry Recognized as product expert by internal and external peers Knowledgeable about multiple projects/initiatives across the company for a variety of internal/external customers. Serves in a variety of roles such as team/customer advisor or bid/sales manager Ability to operate independently and autonomously across a broad range of responsibilities Ability to make the right commercial decisions, when having significant impact on project team, business or operating unit, budget, department and/or client KEY SKILLS: Airline, Airport, Travel, Sales, Business Development, Client engagement, Software, Service, Contract negotiation This is a great opportunity to work for a market leader and develop your knowledge and skills in a dynamic and exiting industry.
