Cafe bakes wonderfully fresh bagels and offers a wide range of dishes on its menu. This is the only cafe in Doha to bake original New York style desserts. WORKING CONDITIONS:Work and residence permit paid by employer;Official labor open contract;Official salary - 1200$;Working time: 8 hours per day; 6 days per week. Overtime if needed will be paid monthly;Vacation ? 21 working days (30 calendar days) per year + tickets provided by employer; Insurance provided;Transport provided by the company;Housing allowance - negotiated during the interview. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Manage and motivate the café team Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all café staffCoordinate the café schedule, covering different shifts if necessaryManage all aspects of catering including orders, invoices, preparation, service, receiptsEstablish, monitor and analyze the café budgetDevelop and implement café policies and administrative functions and procedures i.e. care taking, closing and opening of cash register, catering, invoicing and logisticsAcquaint yourself with current regulations relating to Health and Safety at Work, Food Handling and Hygiene Regulations, Fire Fighting equipment and precautions, medicines and drugs, certain age-restricted productsCoordinate opening and closing of Café;Provide recommendations on staffing requirements, menu changes and pricingStock Management: Ordering and storage of food, beverages and cleaning productsBudget control on catering, daily meals, food and beverages, overheads costsDo regular stock-takes, handle deliveriesEnsure best brand practice is followedDeal with difficult customers QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:Should have experience in cafe/restaurant/F&B outlet, team management (not less than 2 years)Should be able to read and communicate in EnglishStrong managerial skills and ability to work in a multicultural environmentWarm and welcoming personality, open-minded, cheerful character WHO ARE WE?
