We are now hiring! Brody Studios, the bohemian child of Brody House is a private members arts club, restaurant, bar and events space located on Vörösmarty Street in Budapest?s 6th district. This creative club houses artists and hosts regular art, fashion, music and cultural events for members. The inspirational space attracts many private & corporate events including weddings, workshops, press conferences, product launches and birthday parties. Our aim is to promote and contribute to Budapest?s vibrant creative scene? and now, we are on the lookout for people who share this spirit to come and join our group ? check out our open role:BRODY STUDIOS F&B OPERATIONS MANAGER Tasks:1. Team / HR ManagementEfficiently and effectively manage the operations team (floor, kitchen and support team members) Recruitment and training of staff (cleaners, waiters, barmen, technicians, chefs, support staff)Shift scheduling / rota management / time managementEnsure effective use of staff time / minimise idle timeManagement of team rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels in accordance with expected event / customer demandConduct team meetings, service reviewImplement Grievance and Disciplinary procedures where necessaryRegularly report to GM on Staff Management issues.Performance management; monitor staff performance (6 month reviews), provide feedback and deliver improvement / staff development. Provide induction training for new staff and develop Skills Checklists within their first month of employmentOrganise and or lead periodic staff trainings both internal and by external expertsEnsure fair management and distribution of tips Ensure and enforce practice of health and safety regulationsEnsure adherence to HR regulations and employment laws working with HR ManagerHold regular monthly departmental meetings and attend management meetings2. Customer Service / Quality Assurance / Product OfferingsEnsure required level of service deliveryOrganise the food and beverage serviceWork with the Groups Bar and Kitchen Consultants to regularly update the menus and offerings each season and any other issues.Liaise with the Kitchen management on regular basis to maximize attractive offeringSupport Event Managers for client serviceWork with Events teams to deliver the event program alongside regular service as neededEnsure appropriate high standard of food and beverage service Manage any escalated complaint procedures, cooperate with GM where necessary. 3. Administration and Regulation ManagementKeep up to date with licensing legislation affecting any aspect of the operations.Ensure operations are kept to a standard to meet and exceed licensing law requirements. Manage the cashing up and closing procedure, delegate and monitor as appropriate.  4. Sales, Cost and Stock ManagementMonitor purchasing and control of inventories / consumables.Monitor beverage stocks, ensure regular stock taking, ensure reporting on consumption, loss and waste. Provide monthly operations report showing food and beverage sales and the operational costs.Implement / adhere to any budgets providedMonitor revenues and expensesNegotiate supplier arrangements for food and beverage productsAssess suppliers to ensure best value / cost decisions - review with GM. If the above fits you, send us your CV (EN) with a ?mugshot?!
