Sous Chef - What will I do?? Assist the Head Chef in developing new menus and ideas and work closely with our M Kitchen colleagues to promote our M Kitchen brand? Lead our team of skilled chefs to deliver the highest standards and prepare meals for 2000+ colleagues? Maintain cost controls and portion controls at all times? Maintain attractive displays of food throughout the day and ensures good quality and freshness at all times? Be very attentive to Health & Hygiene and Food Safety regulations as set by Morrisons PlcSous Chef - What skills and qualifications do I need?? Previous experience as a chef, ideally to include experience of writing, designing and costing a menu in addition to stock and storeroom management and ordering? Be a real team player and natural leader with proven ability to motivate others? A keen interest in developing and suggesting new ways of working and fresh thinking? Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment? A food related NVQ would be beneficial but not essentialOur aim to offer more of what matters extends to our employees too.
