WE ARE KOCH The Koch Business Solutions Payroll Operations group is part of a larger payroll team that supports multiple Koch businesses with over 50,000 domestic employees in a shared services environment. We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team in a role to provide supervisory oversight for regular payroll processing, payroll transactional processing, troubleshooting, case management, and various other activities for the team that supports 12 core customers. This role interacts with capability leaders and participates in driving new initiatives for payroll operations. So what are you waiting for? Supervise a team of 4-6 payroll specialists, including coaching and performance review ? Direct oversight of regular payroll processing activities for: weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and/or monthly ? Ensures the timely delivery of employee payments through direct deposit and mailing of payroll payments ? Oversee, review and approval of Off cycle and special payroll processing request daily ? Monitor Clarify cases for proper approval of pay request and timely resolution ? Maintains procedures that ensure accurate payments and quality outcomes for customers ? Participate in conversions, acquisitions, and divestitures related activities ? Provide customer support for HR managers, payroll coordinators and controllers for locations assigned ? Create annual Job Aides and Holiday Processing Schedules ? Oversight of review of Quality Assurance Reports ? Oversight of multiple vendor interfaces and coordination of payments ? Communication with customers regarding payroll issues ? Manage and maintain process documentation ? Coordinate and perform updates to Business Continuity Plan testing ? Supervise Quarterly system updates and configuration changes for payroll system ? Participate and lead projects including system upgrades and process improvement initiatives What You Will Need To Bring With You: ? Minimum 1+ years supervisory payroll experience ? 3+ years' experience working with large volume multi-state payrolls ? Experience using HR/Payroll ERP systems (i.e. PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.) ? Knowledge of payment , tax and benefits calculations and deductions ? Understanding of wage and hour payment compliance ? Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) What Will Put You Ahead: ? Experience processing payrolls with multiple pay cycles (Semi-monthly, bi-weekly, weekly) ? Experience with payroll analytics (reporting, review and resolution) ? Experience using and reporting from case management systems or equivalent reporting tools ? SAP experience ?
