The Customer Insights Manager serves as an integral member of the Georgia-Pacific Agency team, developing consumer and customer centric strategies and tactics to achieve increased market share, sales, and profitability of all Georgia-Pacific brands through business and analytical insight. This position will work across our Broker Partners and Direct account to function as a solution manager analyzing and proactively responding to industry, consumer, and competitive trends while capitalizing on growth opportunities to achieve GP's financial goals. Responsibilities:? Identify, quantify, and develop growth opportunities at Key accounts utilizing a variety of sources including: syndicated data and Retailer shopper card data (where applicable). Communicate findings to sales and management teams.? Interpret and apply Georgia Pacific shopper/consumer strategies to key Retailers category strategies.? Work with Broker partner to establish thought leadership at key Retailers by using Shopper insights to provide strategic insight that shape how the Retailer defines their opportunities and tactical plans to address.? Work cross-functionally with marketing, trade marketing and sales teams to ensure plan delivery against category objectives.? Establish a roadmap for using shopper insights as a corporate asset across key Retailers? Train sales team on presentation skills, technical proficiency, analytical problem solving, and managing and measuring business results through a thorough knowledge of loyalty card data.? Manage multiple projects to completion with minimum management oversight.? Manage the Broker partner relationship in all aspects relative to consumer insights and space management delivery. Basic Requirements:? Bachelor's degree is required.? At least five years of consumer products goods experience is required.? At least three years of category management experience is required.? Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required. Preferred Qualifications:? MBA degree is preferred.? Prior experience leading a Category team is preferred.? Previous sales experience is preferred.? Syndicated data experience with IRI and/or Nielsen is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:?
