INVISTA's Victoria, Texas site is currently looking for a Site Procurement Leader.Reporting to the Business Procurement Leader of Intermediates, the site procurement leader will understand the strategy of the business supported by the facility and how their role aligns within that strategy to add value. The site procurement leader will be accountable for the coordination of all purchasing activities at the site and the key responsibilities of the role will include: ? Ensure all aspects of the source to pay process for the facility are executed to the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all laws and regulations ? Apply a clear understanding of the site spend and the relative criticality of those spend categories to the successful achievement of site goals ? Drive proactive engagement with site leadership to identify key pursuits and develop specific action plans to enhance the competitiveness of the site in alignment with the strategic goals of the site and business ? Coordinate with the buying center and commodity strategy managers to ensure maximum delivery of value to the site for both services and materials ? Analyze and ensure that supply risk for the facility is identified and optimized including working with facility operations and maintenance personnel to optimize materials management processes to support equipment reliability strategies ? Ensure that INVISTA corporate procurement processes are established at the site and that all members of the site operations team who engage with the procurement process understand their role in the process ? Negotiate local contracts and pricing if required ? Build relationships with suppliers, site staff, procurement management and other capabilities to effectively optimize the performance of the site procurement function ? Fully engage with the wider INVISTA/KII procurement capability both within the region and beyond to take advantage of opportunities to leverage knowledge as well as buying powerTravel to support both the site role and any additional regional responsibilities that may arise will be required but should not exceed 10% of the time. Key Requirements of the role: ? Operates with the highest level of integrity and is an example to others ? Critical/analytical problem solving skills ? The ability to lead and champion a vision and direction ? Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to plan, focus, and take action ? The ability to influence, gain alignment, and handle multiple and conflicting priorities ? Focus on continuous process improvement and waste eliminationQualifications Required: ? 5 or more years procurement experience in an operations environment within the manufacturing or process industry, or equivalent military experience related to operations, logistics or procurement ? At least 3 years' experience in a leadership role Experience & Skills Preferred: ? Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain ? 5 or more years of experience in the process industry ? 5 or more years of experience in managing and leading a group of procurement personnel ? 5 or more years of experience in tracking and managing procurement processes ? 5 or more years of experience in change management and process improvement ?
