We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Golf & Leisure Manager to work with Leisure Manager and assist in running of your department. To ensure that your department delivers a high quality service to the customers, and maximising on all sales opportunities. By providing support and guidance you will ensure delivery of great customer service at best possible cost within brand guidelines and satisfying legal requirements. Responsibilities of Assistant Golf & Leisure Manager: ˇ To assist in the achieving of weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and targets within the department ˇ Assist with the management and control of all stocks and assets to minimise the risk of damage or loss, protecting assets and margins whilst controlling the employee rota according to fluctuating business levels. ˇ To exceed the departmental profit targets whilst returning investment at the appropriate rate. ˇ To be familiar with and promote other hotels within the group. ˇ Assist with the implementation of incentive programmes with the team, in line with achieving targeted sales. ˇ Take an active role both overall and on property with the preparation of the budgets and plans for your department. ˇ Assist with managing costs based on the budgeted P&L figures and development plans. ˇ Actively participate in any revenue and sales activities operated by De Vere plus any specific operational activities ˇ Ensure tight management of all operational sales underpinned with strong controls ˇ To increase Leisure Club Members, to ensure the departmental Membership targets are achieved ˇ Maximise employee productivity through the use of multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial budgets and targets of the property and therefore the business - whilst ensuring that customers are wowed and receive fantastic service Benefits included for an Assistant Golf & Leisure Manager: ˇ 25 days holidays plus bank holidays ˇ Private Medical Insurance Scheme ˇ Contributory Pension Scheme ˇ Life Assurance ˇ Family & Friends discounts across the Group ˇ Childcare Vouchers Do you have the passion and expertise to encourage new members into our impressive golf facility and to promote and maximise the potential of the golf membership within a large 4 star property.
